Welcome to IQ’s “The 27 Club” an iconic list featuring rock stars, singers, and musicians who died at 27, this list of 27 Club members includes some of the greatest musicians who died before 30. "The 27 Club" or "Club 27" is the nickname given to the group of influential rock musicians who died at the young age of 27.
There are a few "members" who are always listed in "27 Club" listings—such as Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Brian Jones and Kurt Cobain—as well as later members like Amy Winehouse. IQ wanted to pay tribute to these legendary musicians and create a range of individually designed T-Shirts, with our heart felt tagline of “Forever 27”. For many fans of these much missed artists, they are still thought of at the age they unfortunately passed away, hence the “Forever 27” line on the bottom of each design
We are aware there are more artists who tragically dies at 27, than the ones we have listed and its our future intention to create a design that references them all.
